Product Description
Its vertical configuration allows ample space for gravity separation of large liquid droplets from the vapor.
The steam-water mixture boiling inside the tube side rises along the inner wall of the tubes. The generated vapor is separated from water, compressed by the compressor, and then enters the shell side.
The separated water droplets settle down to the bottom of the evaporator through the central cylinder and re-enter the tubes for evaporation again. This process is known as natural circulation evaporation.
2.Counter-current heat exchange: High heat exchange efficiency, with water production rate ≥ 95%.
3.Short cold start-up time: Normal operation and water production can be achieved in approximately 10 minutes during cold start-up (horizontal vapor compression units typically require 30 minutes).
4.Gravity separation + suspension separation: Produced water conductivity can reach 0.06 μS/cm.
5.Natural circulation evaporation: No external circulation pump or nozzle for forced circulation is required; no risk of blockage or frequent red rust formation, and no frequent acid cleaning is needed.
(Horizontal vapor compression units require acid cleaning every 3–6 months, while vertical vapor compression units only need acid cleaning and passivation once every 2–3 years.)
